Last Day of 2008

Heaven, EmPo?

EmPo said we should all live by each other in heaven. I think this will happen (if we all try hard hard hard to get there), since I know for sure I lived with some of you in the pre-existence. And we danced and sang inbetween making flowers and lakes, and took long walks and slowly grew into a love for each other that no one--no where, no how--can break (though next time, I speak not to come down here FIRST. I've made stupid choices, but THAT one was a real mush-for-brains decision).

BOOKS

--"Books can be dangerous. The best ones should be labeled 'This could change your life.'" Helen Exley
--"Medicine for the soul." ~Inscription over the door of the Library at Thebes
--"Books let us into their souls and lay open to us the secrets of our own." William Hazlitt
--"The smallest bookstore still contains more ideas of worth than have been presented in the entire history of television." Andrew Ross
--"To sit alone in the lamplight with a book spread out before you, and hold intimate converse with men [and women] of unseen generations -- such is a pleasure beyond compare."
Kenko Yoshida
--"Fiction reveals truths that reality obscures."
Jessamyn West
--". . . there is nothing more wonderful than a book! A message to us from the dead-- from human souls whom we never saw, who lived perhaps thousands of miles away; and yet these, on those little sheets of paper, speak to us, teach us, comfort us, open their hearts to us as brothers [& sisters]." ~Charles Kingsley

Jami's gone? Naw.
She's not really gone--I'm just having a bad dream?

What a Group.
A. A. Milne --"The third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. The second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority. The first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking."

Quotation

"My memory is certainly in my hands. I can remember things only if I have a pencil and I can write with it and I can play with it. I think your hand concentrates for you. I don't know why it should be so." --Rebecca West
