It's true, I told a bigfatlie: Joan Didion had nothing to do with the Incredible Hulk screenplay. But in case that disappoints you, I've attached the above picture of the Hulk tearing a car in half, which is not disappointing. You are probably experience strong feelings of disbelief right now. I understand; I too find it hard to believe that someone would tear a car in half without a shirt on. But I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation, which we will find out when we go SEE THE MOVIE AT 7:45 P.M. TOMORROW! WOOHOO! Come one, come all. Be there or be square.

in case you don't get it...that was a line that the hulk says.

Anyway if you're still not convinced, this is a critical analysis of the original American dream. You know, the American dream where people dreamed of being strong enough to rip cars in half. When did capitalism ever come into play? Thank you Hulk for showing us America's true destiny.

Chan and Ivor, you've finally gone over the top, Children. I actually wanted to go until I saw the pic. I'm just not in the mood for a hilarious comedy ("critical analysis," Ha). What happened to our promise of a good movie (LONG ROAD HOME), if we swallow our pride, take your word, and check out this movie? And isn't there a matinée on Sat when no one will see us going through the doors? Puleeeese.

Hey, I'd still love to watch Road Home. We just need a time. And if your desire to go to a matinee is based on fear of what others will think, forget it. 7:45. P.M. Tonight. This evening. Jintian wanshan.

whaaaaaaaa. Whine. My reputation as having superb taste in movies is at stake here. No one would ever take my brilliant comments about film seriously again.

The thing about the Hulk is that it's all metaphorical, like Ivor implied. It's not really about a giant man that can rip cars in half. It's about the triumph of the human spirit in the midst of the most terrible affliction, a battle against seemingly insurmountable oppression, and the horrible cost of violence in today's society. Like No Country for Old Men but about the new wave of genetic testing instead of trying to keep up with an increasingly destructive world.

What?

(Matthew esq, are you going?)

Yes, I believe I am going. I am not sure how that influences your decision to attend.

Also, this picture of a dinosaur made me think of the types of movies you like, Sis. Morgan.

I always wanted to be a square if I had to choose any shape. Oh, or a star.
