Statues of snow

We build statues of snow and weep when they melt.

I'm a little bored. Just listening to iTunes. My little sis just called and asked if I wanted to go see that new Narnia movie...which I kind of do, but we just bought a Wii, and we haven't bought a crib or anything for the baby, so now I feel bad spending money. I was going to be all crafty and make curtains for our apartment, but the sewing machine is still in the back of the car, which Austin took to work. He's gone until eleven tonight, and he hates his job. He's just waiting for his real job to start in September. I'm just waiting for the baby to come, but at least I like my job.

I found that quote up at the top in one of my old newspapers from the 1800s. I think it's by Sir Walter Scott. I know it should be followed by a profound blog. Do I even have that in me though? Someone else needs to write a profound blog for me. I'm taking a water aerobics class. I thought I might sink because I have a big preggie stomach now. We get water noodles to hold though. I have to wear this gross grandma swimsuit because again, I don't want to shell out for a swimsuit that I'll only wear for a couple months. Sorry, I'm just writing. Trying to focus in on something that's just a little too far. But since everyone just reads this blog as a timewaster anyway, I don’t feel bad about wasting your time.

I think that was a very profound blog--probably more than you meant it to be. So how do you like your Wii. My little brother has one and he is so excited for David and I to come home so he has someone to play it with. I've heard they are pretty fun.
Are you still at the library? Is that the job you like? What will Austin be doing in the fall?

Timewaster? This is, like, a big deal, not a timewaster. Today in Sunday school we were talking about seers and how they have as much power as person can have without having all God's power. Referring to God's power the teacher said, "everyone knows it's, like, the ultra super best thing."

I'm going to make it my semester goal to write you a post that has that deep quote in it. It'll be so deep you'd have to use the wii fishing game to fish me out of the bottom of the deepness of it.

To answer Julie, I'm still at the library full-time trying to finish my newspaper project before I have the baby, and Austin starts at the FDIC doing bank examiner stuff in September.

It's interesting what you end up doing to make it through a 9 to 5 day. I like to bring lots of snacks and reward myself if I finish my self-imposed work quotas for each hour.

p.s. I hate the Wii fishing game, although the Wii is like, totally the super best thing. (Note, not the ultra super best though).

I have to agree with Chan in saying that the blog isn't a timewater, though.

I mean, time waster. Not time water. Which is what I wrote before. Yeah.

Timewater...that sounds profound. The years careen by like a raging river of timewater. I consume my hours as if they were twelve oz cans of a delicious beverage: timewater. Anyone else have any ultra super bad sentences that include timewater? Anona, do you remember when a few of us wrote bios for each other?

We build statues of snow and weep when they melt...into puddles of timewater.

Ooh, I like that...it sounds very profound.
So if you want to see how well someone knows you, have them write a short biography of your life. It's very enlightening. Chandler, I emailed Kirsten the other day but I don't even know if she can check her email on the mission. Do you have any idea?

I think she can check it, but I don't think she can write back unless you are a family member. Her address is

2133 Washington Blvd.
Ogden, UT 84401.
